Infiniwell streams data on 5G with Telenor/Azure - 21 March 2021

Trondheim: Now your heart can be checked over 5G

ECG measurement from the living room

After Telenor opened the 5G network in Trondheim last year, a pilot project was established in Trondheim. In collaboration with Helse Midt-Norge's IT department, the startup company Infiniwell and Microsoft, Telenor's 5G network has been tested for secure transport of health data to cloud services. The aim is to explore how 5G, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence can contribute to a sustainable healthcare system in the future. In the long run, such a solution can be used by health trusts and GPs across the country to monitor, diagnose or follow up their patients regardless of time and place.

Infiniwell is a start-up company in Trondheim that focuses on artificial intelligence, and creates telemedicine and remote monitoring solutions for patients, so that health services can be decentralized. They are part of AI Village at Pirsenteret, and are a company with international ambitions.
